Sanders promoted to vice president of Clinical Integration

Sharon Sanders, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., was recently promoted to Vice President of Clinical Integration at Carroll Hospital Center. Formerly the assistant vice president of clinical integration, Sanders will be responsible for monitoring how patients are managed in all aspects of their care within the hospital, following discharge and in the community.
This will include working with the emergency, behavioral health, home health, outpatient services and care management service lines at Carroll Hospital Center, as well as playing an integral role in the functions of The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County, Inc.
Since joining Carroll Hospital Center in 2006, Sanders has made a significant impact in advancing services and enhancing patient care at the hospital in her various positions including being the previous director of critical care, director of cardiopulmonary and outpatient services, and executive director of cardiovascular services at the hospital.
Sanders received her nursing degree from the Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing, her bachelor of science in nursing degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker College.
