Ravens sign rookie free agent linebacker

The Baltimore Ravens signed rookie free agent outside linebacker D.J. Roberts Friday.

Roberts, who played in college at Tennessee-Martin, was among the tryout players at the Ravens' rookie minicamp earlier this month after he wasn't selected during the NFL draft last month.

He had 174 tackles, including 39.5 tackles for a loss and 12.5 sacks in 45 games at Tennessee-Martin.

To make room for Roberts on the roster, Baltimore waived quarterback Nick Stephens, who spent part of last season on the Ravens' practice squad.

NOTE: The Ravens signed third-round safety Terrence Brooks Friday. They now have all nine of their draft picks under contract.
