Tuesday
Evening Story Time: 7 p.m. All ages. This story time introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Read and Play: 11 a.m. Ages birth-24 months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces, and rhymes followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling. Siblings welcome. With an accompanying caregiver.
Story Pals: 10 a.m. Ages 2-3. A theme-based story time featuring interactive and age-appropriate stories, songs, finger plays and activities. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Wednesday
Family Movie Night: 6:30 p.m. All ages. Join for an evening of family fun. Sit back and relax with family and friends while watching a great new movie at the library. We'll even supply the popcorn. Children 3 and younger must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served.

Storytelling in the Park: 7 p.m. All ages. Grab a blanket or a chair and join us in the Mary Lou Dewey Sculpture Park for an evening of stories. CCPL's very own storyteller Carolyn Cherry will cast her spell on all who attend with some of her favorite tales. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Thursday
Choose My Plate: Guide to Healthy Eating: 7 p.m. Adults. Join Terry Serio, a nutrition educator at the University of Maryland Extension Office, for the latest information on healthy eating and the new dietary guidelines. This one hour class will include discussion, interaction, and helpful resources for a healthier lifestyle. Registration for this program began 6/7/2012.
Songs at 6:30 Concert Series: 6:30 p.m. All ages. Join us for this free evening concert series featuring local and regional musicians. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy some terrific music. Sponsored by The City of Westminster, Downtown Westminster Main Street Program, and Coffey Music. Rain location: lower level of Longwell Parking Garage. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

The Magic of Roger Lindsay: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Ages 4-Adults. Summer Reading ambassador Roger Lindsay transports kids 4 to 104 to a realm of magical happenings, illusions, and laughter. Join Prop the Magic Bunny as he and Mr. Lindsay amaze and amuse in this show loaded with audience participation. You never know what surprises await you. Registration required for both children and adults planning to attend with children. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Registration for this program began 6/8/2012.

Summer Reading Sleepy Celebration: 1 p.m. All ages. Bring in your blankies and favorite stuffed friend for our sleepy celebration. We'll listen to bedtime stories and songs, make a craft, and end our fun with cookies and milk. PJs are optional. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served.

Finksburg Book Discussion Group: 6:30 p.m. Adults. Please join us for a lively discussion of this month's book. "Wild Swans" by Jung Chang.

The Three Billy Goats Gruff Puppet Show: 9:45 and 11 a.m. Ages 3-Adults. Isn't it fun to take a trip? What happens when there are problems along the road? Traveling to Ocean City, we cross a toll bridge, but the Goats Gruff have to cross the Troll Bridge to reach the beach. Will they be able make it? Come see the hilarious library puppet show and find out. Early Literacy Event: Help your child strengthen their narrative skills by re-telling the story using stick puppet characters (handout provided). Children age 3 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Registration for this program began 6/5/2012.

Night Shift: Animals at Night: 10:30 a.m. Ages 6-12. When the sun sets, the "night shift" animals come on duty. Learn about the special senses that allow these animals to navigate in the dark. The Maryland Zoomobile staff will test your nocturnal sensory skills while you get to meet zoo creatures of the night when they visit the library. This program is sponsored by Celebree Learning Centers. Registration for this program began 6/6/2012.

Summer Snacks: 3 p.m. Ages 11-17. Summer is here, and it brought snacks. Come scarf down some indoor s'mores and learn how to make marvelous mini-pizzas so that, even when school starts again, you can still enjoy the taste of summer. Refreshments will be served.

Monday
Digital Photo Books: 7 p.m. Ages 13-adults. Learn to create your own digital books, from selecting your theme to adding your photos and telling your story. You can create a book of your vacation memories, sports endeavors, a gift for that special someone or whatever you choose. Bring a laptop to learn on the spot or take your new scrapbooking skills home with you. Registration for this program began 6/11/2012.
Got Milk?: 11 a.m. Ages 3-7. June is National Dairy month and we're celebrating. Come listen to stories, sing songs, and make butter from scratch. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Refreshments will be served. Registration for this program began 6/11/2012.
LEGO Creations: 2 p.m. Ages 5-Adults. Want to build a castle? Or a spaceship? Or something totally new and different? Join us for a LEGO program where you can build whatever you would like. We supply the blocks and you supply the creativity. Bring your dad or your mom and build together.
Sidewalk Chalk Spectacular: 10 a.m. All ages. Add your own creative touch to the Finksburg Branch. Join us Mondays this summer to give our walkways some flair and fun. Program is weather permitting.
