Maureen and Carmen Longobardi, of Rochester, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Longobardi, of Frederick, to James Spencer, of Westminster, son of the late Junella Spencer.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo, Johns Hopkins University and Hood College. She is a science manager at Medical Countermeasure Systems in Frederick.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Charleston in West Virginia and Hood College. He is a virology technician.
An Oct. 3, 2014, wedding is planned.
