Bruce Burke Martin, 74, of Hampstead, died Monday, May 5, 2014, at home.
Born April 30, 1940, in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Burke Martin. He was the husband of Arla Hale Martin, his wife of 50 years.
He had served in the Army, and had worked in purchasing at Black & Decker prior to his retirement.
He was a member of Hampstead volunteer fire company and Lebanon Lodge No. 175. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a regular member of Spargo's "breakfast club."
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son Timothy Martin and wife Diana, of Hanover, Pa.; daughter Corrine Krampf and husband William, of Harwood; grandsons Zachary Martin, Kyle Krampf and Ian Krampf; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Frenkil.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead.
A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Jarrett Wicklein officiating. Private interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
