B&O Railroad Museum, 901 W. Pratt Street, Baltimore, will host "A Journey from Roads to Rails" lecture at noon Jan. 25.
David Shackelford, chief curator of the B&O Railroad Museum and author of "A Journey from Roads to Rails" will explore the early development and intersection of the Baltimore & Frederick Turnpike and B&O Railroad.
The discussion will be followed by a signing of his book "A Journey from Roads to Rails: The Baltimore & Frederick Turnpike, the B&O Railroad, and Ellicotts Mills, Maryland: 1800-1860.
