Lee W. 'Jack' Parr, 77, of Millersville

Lee W. "Jack" Parr, 77, of Millersville, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Little Washington, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Derring Parr. He was the husband of Peggy Whitesell Parr, his wife of 46 years.
He had worked for many years in automobile sales, working 20 years with Brooklyn Motors in Baltimore. When he retired he became an avid golfer and made many friends working as a marshal at River Run Golf Club.
He was a member of the Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge, Baltimore Boumi Shriners and the Ocean City Shrine Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children James Parr, of North Carolina, Kimberly Hoke, of Ohio, Thomas Parr and Scott Parr, both of California, Kenneth Parr and wife Karen, Misty Bunting and husband Rick, and Brandy Tayman and husband Dave, all of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; a brother, William C. Parr, of Virginia; and sisters Margaret Parr, of Virginia, and Deborah Bersch, of Arizona.
Cremation followed his death. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Messiah United Methodist Church, 7401 E. Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
