Bobby Seale, former chairman and co-founder of the original 1966 Black Panther Party, will visit McDaniel College 6-8 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the 1960s, which is known as a time when the activism of thousands flourished into cross-cultural coalitions and community programs. He will talk about how people must reach for the future and understand how today's civil-human rights issues are interconnected.
The event, "From the Sixties to the Future," will take place in the Decker College Center Forum, 2 College Hill, Westminster. Seale will autograph historical posters, books and DVDs for sale from 6-7 p.m. and his lecture will begin at 7 p.m.
