To educate Carroll County's Latino community about the importance of health and nutrition, Carroll Hospital Center is partnering with health agencies throughout the community to hold the Latino Health Fair. The free health fair takes place on Sunday, March 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Portico at St. John, located at 43 Monroe Street in Westminster.
During the event the hospital's health navigators, in partnership with representatives from the Carroll County Health Department, United Hands of Carroll County and Access Carroll will provide education and resources on health topics including nutrition, cancer, heart health and access to health and dental care. Bilingual translators and information will be available at the fair, as well as blood pressure screenings and light refreshments.
