Letter: Thanks for help along the road

On February 5 my wife and I were enroute to Bullock's restaurant when our car broke down in Md. 32.

Almost immediately someone stopped to push our car off the road, and then a state trooper, a sheriff's deputy and about four other people stopped to offer assistance to us.

After contacting AAA to tow the car, a kind lady drove my wife to our home so that she could get our other car and meet me at the garage.

We were, and still are, amazed at the number of people who stopped to offer help to us. Though we do not know the names of the good Samaritans, we would like them to know that we are very appreciative and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

It is comforting to know that there are still caring people. Thanks you.
