6-8 Centennial blanks Sykesville East

The 6-8 Centennial team moved to 6-0 with a 19-0 win over Sykesville East. Great blocking led to Marcel Montgomery having two rushing TDs. Brian Fique had one rushing TD, Austin Collins had an extra point. The defense came up with its fifth shutout of the season, forcing two turnovers. Dillion Stack forced and recovered a fumble and Ethan Williams came up with his second interception of the season.


6-8 Federal edges West Howard

The 6-8 Federal team had a nail-biting win 13-12 over West Howard. Luke Chesebrough and Logain Haines each had a touchdown. Ayden Fadrowski made an extra point.

7-9 Centennial improves to 5-1

The 7-9 Centennial team overcame a sloppy first half to defeat the Sykesville Raiders East 31-0. The defense did not allow a first down headed up by the D-Line consisting of Owen Murphy, Evan Hart, Malichi Reynolds, Logan Simpkins, Colin Adams, Grant Warner, Kaleb Reid, Donovan Mason, Danny Brethauer, Alex Miller, and Joe Poore. JJ Brummett and Jackson Boothby accounted for one rushing touchdown each. Connor Trump had over 10 tackles, Grant Warner recovered a fumble. Logan Simpkins made all three extra point kicks.

7-9 Federal shuts out Sykesville

The 7-9 Fed team won 13-0 over Sykesville East. Austin Anderson had two touchdowns and Zach Bowen ran in one extra point. Hunter Green and Austin Anderson each recovered a kickoff.

8-10 Centennial blanks Sykesville

The 8-10 Centennial team cruised to a 14-0 win over a previously unbeaten Sykesville East. Sykesville had only give up 6 points all year. AJ Knobloch scored on the opening possession, Kyle Eckert had ar long TD run and Grant Boerner kicked the extra point. Thomas Chenoweth and Kyle Scott led a hard-hitting defense. With the win, the Titans moved to 5-1 and clinched a playoff spot.

9-11 Centennial edges Sykesville

The 9-11 Centennial team won a real nail-biter 7-6 against an undefeated Sykesville team. T.J. Shatz scored a touchdown for the Titans with Kacy Montgomery throwing a pass to Jaden Baker for the deciding extra point.

9-11 Federal blanks Oakdale

The 9-11 Feds ran their winning steak to four with a 20-0 shutout of Oakdale. The offense ran behind Shane Rhoten, Logan Wun, Sean Smith, Cameron Bunce, Ryan Kumpar, and Evan Bare for three first-half touchdowns. Eric Kable, Ryan Brown and Griffin Bass scored. Stephen Kelly and Nick Mercadante added xtra points. Mercadante and Kaden Ross added interceptions for the Titans (5-1).

Westminster Wildcats

Wildcats 6-8 Federal Green tops Urbana

Westminster 6-8 Federal Green traveled to Urbana and came away with a 22-0 win, going to 6-0. An outstanding defensive effort led to a safety and only surrendered one first down. Great line play allowed the offense to control the ball and come away with the win. With this win, the team became the first of the 25 teams in its division to clinch a playoff birth.

Wildcats 7-9 Centennial beats Mustangs

The Westminster defense shut down the Reisterstown Mustangs, and led the way to a 16-0 win. Offensively, the Wildcats moved the ball but were not able to score in the first half. They picked up the intensity in the second half and powered their way to two touchdowns.

Wildcats 11-13 edge Reisterstown

The Westminster 11-13 Centennial team defeated Reisterstown 16-13 to improve to 4-2l. They were led by Braden Davis, who scored a TD and recovered a fumble. Tyler Snyder threw a TD pass to Dan Luette to seal the victory. The Wildcat defense led by Colby Jardim, Daulton Beard, Cole Birdow and Oscar Schoenfelder held Reisterstown's running attack down and forced three turnovers.
