Kaistha presented with COA

Marines from LCPL Robert W. Deane Detachment No. 770 of the Marine Corps League presented a Certificate of Appreciation to local business owner Sudha Kaistha of SK Printing in Sykesville.

Marines Harry Wolfe and Commandant Joseph Clemente presented a COA on April 24 to Kaistha for her support of the LCPL Robert W. Deane, Marine Corps League Detachment.

She stated that she feels it proper to support a veterans organization that does so much for the community. And so, she donated $500 to the LCPL Deane Detachment in February.

The Marine Corps League is a Veterans Organization that supports Active Duty, Reserve Marines, Retired and Honorably Discharged Marines, FMF Navy Chaplains and Navy Corpsman. Members are involved with programs such as Toys for Tots (collecting new and unwrapped toys) for needy children; Marines Helping Marines - a program where members visit wounded Marines and FMF Corpsman in military/VA hospitals - locally at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda; Scholarship programs - providing scholarships to local students who meet criteria to further their education; Young Marines program - teaching our youth about the Marine Corps.
