Letter: Same old talk from Democrats

So now we have the Democrats from their national convention. And what will we hear?

We will hear whining requests for Mitt Romney to release more years of his tax returns than is required.

Frankly, if the IRS says Romney is compliant, that's good enough for me. I am less concerned with what Romney does with his money than I am with what Barrack Obama does with mine.

We will hear about the war on women's health care, and the Republican threat to taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. But we won't hear that Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in that multi-million dollar industry. We won't hear that many women do not consider abortion to be health care at all, rather an intrinsically evil, violent act.

We will hear about marriage equality which is a euphemism for women "marrying" women and men "marrying" men.

We will hear about separation of church and state which ,in Demspeak, really means that people who have the habit of daily prayer and who worship as part of a congregation on weekends have no right to influence public policy, but people who don't do.

If I am not working late into the evenings this week, I'll probably watch the Orioles not the DNC.
