, 600 North Charles Street, Baltimore, will host "Threshold to the Sacred: The Ark Door of Cairo's Ben Ezra Synagogue" from March 2-May 26. The exhibition will explore a decorated and inscribed medieval wood door from a Holy Ark, a cabinet that holds the Torah scrolls. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and is open Wednesday-Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Admission is free.

Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture

, 830 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore, is hosting a Black History Oratory Contest from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 17. Twenty high school semi-finalists will present their memorized orations inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Booker T. Washington and Harriet Tubman.

Spotlighters Theatre

, 817 Saint Paul Street, Baltimore, will present "The Last Five Years" by Jason Robert Brown. The show is about two young people who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. Cathy tells her story backwards from their break-up while Jamie tells his story forward from their first date. The show will run Fri-Sun. March 1-24. The Bach Concert Series
will celebrate its 25th anniversary of performing in Baltimore with an intercultural performance of Beethoven's Ninth at 4 p.m. March 3 at Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 8100 Stevenson Road, Baltimore.
