Carroll Tracey Huster, 93, of Reisterstown

Carroll Tracey Huster, 93, of Reisterstown passed away on Oct. 8, 2012 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.

Born Feb. 16, 1919 in Reisterstown to Carroll E. and Marcella G. Huster. He was a veteran of WWII in the army. He was employed by the US Post Office for over 38 years. He was a member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church and a life member of Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department. He was also Past President of the Reisterstown Lions Club.

Surviving are his sons Stephen A. Huster of Street, MD and Jeffrey B. Huster of Manchester, MD; grandchildren Amy Caplan and Gregory Huster. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 17,2012 at 10:30 am, at the funeral home. Interment Garrison Forest Veteran's Cemetery. Dorothy Louise Alban, 88, of Westminster

Dorothy Louise Alban, 88, of Westminster died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster.

Born April 4, 1924 in Lineboro, she was the daughter of late Emory and Beulah Zepp. She was the wife Milton "Jake" Alban, her husband of 46 years.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Lazarus United Church of Christ. She worked at the Reisterstown Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Donna Alban; grandchildren Robert Alban and wife Jennifer of Williston, VT and Sherry Rivera and husband Rafael of Hanover, PA; her great grandchildren Lily, O'Neil, and Annie; her cousin Dale Wilhelm and wife Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Pauline Zepp; brothers Vernon Jacob Zepp and Russell Zepp.

Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.

Thomas Robert Watts, 91, of Annapolis

Thomas Robert Watts, 91 years old of Annapolis, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born May 22, 1921 in Hampstead, MD., he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson Watts and Pearl Amethyst Stansbury. He was the husband of the late Wilma Garland Watts who died in 2005.

He was a graduate of Franklin H.S. class of 1938. He served honorably with the U.S. Navy in WWII. He was a district manager for the Prudential Insurance Company. He was a part time resident of Rotonda-West, Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dining out and singing Karaoke.

Surviving are his children and spouses, Linda S. Watts (Rick Irwin) of Annapolis, Thomas R. Watts, Jr. (Elaine) of Davidsonville, MD., Vickie W. Hait (Tom) of Laurel, MD., 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a brother Donald S. Watts of Reisterstown.

Jane Alee Allen, 87, of Garrison

Jane Alee Allen, 87, of Garrison died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.

Born May 12, 1925 in Garrison, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ruth Marquess. She was the wife of Robert Lee Allen, her husband of 53 years, who died in 2008.

She attended Franklin High School, worked a cafeteria worker at Pikesville Junior High School and a private chauffer.

Surviving are her children Linda Kindred, Vicky Turek, Robert Allen, Jr., Darrel Allen, and Sherri Shields; her sisters Lucille Houck and Virginia Garner, her 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son Herbert W. Reall and her brother Milford Marquess.

The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday at

A private cremation will take place at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel, Manchester.

Interment will be private.


Vernon Lamar Leaf, Sr., 91, of Pikesville

Vernon Lamar Leaf, Sr. age 91 of Pikesville died Monday Oct. 8 at the Gilchrist Hospice in Towson. Born Feb. 3, 1921 in Baltimore County. he was the son of the late George Frank and Grace Crouse Leaf. He was the husband of the late Katherine H. Leaf who died in 2000.

He was a retired warehouse manager for Armco Steel Corp. He was a life member of the Reisterstown Vol. Fire Dept. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and WWII and a member of the American Legion Post 116 Reisterstown.

Surviving are children: Susan Brooks and husband Robert of Pikesville. and Donna Bolte and husband John of Pikesville. He was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

He was predeceased by a son: Vernon Larry Leaf Jr., brother: Carville Leaf and a grandson.
