Robert William "Vic" Vicarini Sr., 86, of Baltimore, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.
He was the son of the late Louis and Lillian Vicarini. He was the husband of Ilene Vicarini.
He and his brother were raised in Baltimore, and were close to one another throughout their lives.
He had been a Marine, and met his wife while stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. They married in 1949 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Parkville and would have celebrated their 64th anniversary in November.
He had worked as a pressman at News American for most of his life, until they closed; and he retired from the Baltimore Sun.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son Robert Vicarini Jr.; a grandson, Evan; brother Norman Vicarini and wife Doris; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until noon today at Cremation and Funeral Alternatives, 8717 Green Pastures Drive, Baltimore.
