Dorothy Ailean Tretton Marsiglia, 91, of Manchester, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Gettysburg Center in Gettysburg, Pa.

Born May 30, 1921, in Essex, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Margaret Yeger Tretton. She was the wife John Peter Marsiglia, her husband of 65 years, who died June 17, 2007.

She was a cashier for Super Fresh Grocery Store, the former A&P. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. In her spare time she enjoyed cruise vacations, traveling to Ocean City, and Wildwood, N.J., and fine dining out with her husband.

Surviving are daughters Maria Becker, of Hanover, Pa., Paula Holmes and husband Robert Jr., of Westminster, and Diane Schaeffer and husband Bruce, of New Freedom, Pa.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

Catholic prayers will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach officiating. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium.
