Hurricane Sandy has come and gone, leaving devastation and destruction in its wake. Luckily, the damage to Carroll was much less than some anticipated, but other areas in Maryland were hit hard, and northern states were ravaged. The death toll keeps rising, with reports of around 60 deaths along the East Coast as of last week.

Unfortunately, whole lives were changed because of this, as some storm victims lost everything they had. Donating to the American Red Cross is always a good option. For more information you can head online to http://www.redcross.org/.
