Francis A. Isennock, 92, of Westminster

Francis Austin Isennock, 92, of Westminster, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Fairhaven Nursing Center.

Born June 1, 1921, in Sparks, he was the son of the late Carroll Vincent and Emma Letitia Jones Isennock. He was the husband of Helen G. Isennock, his wife of 64 years.

He worked for the United States Postal Service for 32 years and had served in the Marines.

He was a member of the Mason Lodge in Reisterstown, the Western Maryland Shrine and the Reisterstown Lions Club. He was an avid sports fan and had been a coach with the Lions Club Football program. During high school he was an accomplished basketball player.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Lynn Hickle, of Bluffton, South Carolina, Gail and husband Jerry Whitcomb, of Westminster, and Bonnie and husband Dan Cheng, of Westminster; stepsons Bob Marchio and Steve Marchio, both of Hanover, Pennsylvania.; grandchildren James and Chris Hickle, Jeff and wife Bethany Cheng, and Andrew Cheng; and a great-grandchild, Sylvia Cheng.

He was predeceased by brothers Maurice Isennock and Bob Bradford.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
