Messenger Eagle Communications, the faith-based division of the strategic marketing, advertising communications company Renegade Communications, announced that it has expanded its leadership team with the addition of a new National Business Development Manager, nonprofit and industry veteran Rob Silbaugh.
In this role, Silbaugh will be responsible for helping the Catholic market grow and succeed while promoting the mission of Messenger Eagle's various clients.
Silbaugh will lead the development and growth of national and corporate partnerships within the Catholic market; this will include sponsorship and cause-related marketing as well as management of donors in relation to fundraising.
Prior to joining Messenger Eagle, Silbaugh spent more than four years as president, CEO and owner of R&S Consulting. While with R&S Consulting, Silbaugh advised and assisted small businesses and nonprofits with budget reviews, direct mail and capital campaigns, fundraising and gift solicitation, volunteer engagement, board development and other services.
Silbaugh's career in the nonprofit and business development industry has spanned across 25 years. He has extensive experience providing guidance to Catholic and secular organizations in the topics of branding, campaigns, communications, administration and fundraising.
Silbaugh also has a proven track record of financial success, raising millions of dollars for the nonprofits he serves to ensure that the charities are able to carry out their mission and their donors feel a connection to the organization. Nonprofits Silbaugh served include: the Archdiocese of Baltimore, The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal in Philadelphia, the Vincentians, the Wounded Warrior Project, Harvest for the Hungry, Our Daily Bread, St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, Niagara University and the National Ski Patrol.
