Jay Z's 'Magna Carter World Tour'

The word: Jay Z is reported to offer pure rap -- poetry in the language of hip-hop -- as opposed to flamboyant production on this tour in support of his "Magna Carter Holy Grail" album. Reviewers say he is playing to his strengths.

The word: Paul Simon and Sting played together at a fundraiser for the Robin Hood Foundation last year and decided to make a habit of their collaboration. In March, they take a break from their tour to support the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit'

The word: Chris Pine takes over the role of Jack Ryan, a character made famous in the books of Tom Clancy. In the film, Ryan is a young covert CIA analyst who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack.The movie also starts Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley and Kenneth Branagh, who does double-duty as director.

Young the Giant, 'Mind Over Matter'

The word: This American indie rock band attempts to follow up the success of its first album with the help of veteran producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen. The album is led by two singles, "It's About Time" and "Crystallized."
