Demetri Martin

The word: Comedian and actor Demetri Martin is known for his subdued delivery and off-kilter material. Martin has written for "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," was a correspondent on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and formerly hosted the show "Important Things with Demetri Martin" for Comedy Central. Martin's stand-up often features physical props, drawings and musical interludes.

Mythbusters: Behind the Myths Tour

The word: Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman of the Discovery Channel are taking their Mythbusting on the road with this live tour. The show will feature Adam and Jamie conducting on-stage experiments to bust or confirm common myths through the scientific method. The event will also feature videos and interviews with the main cast.

"Godzilla"

The word: Indie director Gareth Edwards, whose only previous work was the small-scale disaster film "Monsters," steps up to take on the story of everyone's favorite irradiated dinosaur. Early word says the film will focus on the human characters, played by "Breaking Bad's" Bryan Cranston, "Kick-Ass'" Aaron Taylor-Johnson and "Oldboy's" Elizabeth Olsen. Early trailers have played up a sense of scale and dread, treating the kaiju as creatures to be feared. It's been ten years since the last Godzilla film hit Japan, the longest gap between films the big G has experienced since his debut in 1954.

"Behind the Light"

The word: American Idol winner Phillip Phillips has completed the first album since his Idol-sponsored debut, "The World From the Side of the Moon," dropped in 2012 and was nominated for best rock album by the Billboard Music Awards. This summer, Phillips will tour with O.A.R. Phillips' music blends rock sensibilities with folk and funk, creating a unique blend of genres.

2014 Billboard Music Awards

The word: The music magazine and popularity chart will hold their annual award show this Sunday. The show will feature performances by Ricky Martin, Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons and more. Imagine Dragons and Lorde are leading the pack with 12 nominations apiece, and Jennifer Lopez will receive an honorary Icon Award.
