Ravens assign tenders to restricted free agents

According to reports, the Baltimore Ravens assigned tenders to its three primary restricted free agents, placing second round tenders on tight end Dennis Pitta and defensive lineman Arthur Jones and an original round tender on tight end Ed Dickson, who was selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL draft. The second-round tender is worth $2.023 million. The original round tender is worth $1.323 million.

If any team signs Pitta or Jones to an offer sheet that the Ravens don't match, Baltimore will be compensated with a second round pick in the draft. Likewise, if a team signs Dickson to an offer sheet the Ravens choose not to match, Baltimore will be awarded a third round selection.
