Baltimore County will begin collecting live Christmas trees for recycling beginning Jan. 13. Trees must be set out at the curb by Jan. 18.
Trees must not have any lights, decorations, tinsel, bags or tree stands. They can only be set out at the front curb or street. They will not be collected from alleys.
To drop off your Christmas tree starting Dec. 26, take it to the Eastern Sanitary Landfill Solid Waste Management Facility at 6259 Days Cove Road, White Marsh between 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon.-Sat., the Central Acceptance Facility, 201 West Warren Road, Cockeysville between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Sat., or the Western Acceptance Facility, 3310 Transway Road, Halethorpe between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Mon.-Sat.
