NAVY SQUASH:

The Navy squash team (9-3) faced a tough challenge in playing host to top-ranked and reigning National Champion Trinity on Wednesday night at the Halsey Field House International Squash Courts. The 4-0 Bantams showed why they are the best team in the college squash, as them handed the 14th-ranked Mids a 9-0 loss.

The Midshipmen will play their final home match of the season next Wednesday when they play host to 20th-ranked George Washington at 5:30 p.m.

WASHINGTON COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

Visiting Washington College scored the final six points en route to a 43-38 victory in a Centennial Conference game. The Shorewomen improved to 3-8 overall and 2-3 in the Centennial.

MCDANIEL WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

McDaniel gradually built a 14-point first-half lead before holding off a second-half rally from Muhlenberg to notch a 52-45 Centennial Conference victory.

SALISBURY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

Snapping a 22-game losing streak against the University of Mary Washington dating back to 2004, the Sea Gulls earned a win in their first home game of 2014 with a 51-39 victory over the Eagles.

Junior guard Anna Hackett paced the Sea Gulls with 20 points, with 16 of them coming in the second half.

ST. MARY'S COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL:

No. 21 St. Mary's College of Maryland rolled to its fourth straight win with a 97-54 win over Frostburg State University.

ST. MARY'S COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

The senior trio of Sophie Pruden, Shana Lewis and Marché Senior forward Myeisha Wallace (Southern) hauled in 10 rebounds.

UMBC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

Freshman guard Taylor McCarley knocked down nine of 12 free throws and reset her career high with 16 points, but Maine drained 12 3-pointers to cruise to a 68-39 victory.

MCDANIEL MEN'S BASKETBALL:

McDaniel turned a nine-point halftime deficit into a 57-50 victory over Muhlenberg.

Evan Pupelis led the Green Terror (8-4, 3-2 CC) with a season-best 16 points. Phillip Perry (/Annapolis Area Christian) scored six points.

SALISBURY MEN'S BASKETBALL:

The Sea Gulls dropped their first home contest of the new year, 75-70, to No. 17 University of Mary Washington.

NAVY WOMEN'S SOCCER:

The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced its 2013 Division I Women's Soccer All-Star teams and three members of the U.S. Naval Academy women's soccer program have been honored.

Junior defender Jade Seabrook, junior forward Morgan Dankanich and senior goalkeeper Elizabeth Hoerner were tabbed as ECAC All-Star Second Team members.
