Ravens: Ravens sign linebacker Darryl Blackstock

OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens signed another linebacker today, acquiring former Oakland Raiders backup Darryl Blackstock.

Blackstock, 29, is a 6-foot-3, 245-pounder who recorded 20 tackles last season for the Raiders. He played in every game with one start.

The Ravens also signed former Raiders linebacker Ricky Brown earlier today. Both players worked out for the Ravens on Tuesday along with former Cleveland Browns offensive guard Eric Steinbach.

Blackstock is a former Arizona Cardinals third-round draft pick from the University of Virginia.

Blackstock has 84 career tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble in five NFL seasons.

He played for the Cincinnati Bengals two years ago, registering 20 tackles.
