Viewers of the HBO series "Veep" may notice a familiar roundabout in Sykesville for an episode of the upcoming season.
Late last week the production company which creates the half-hour series worked with the town of Sykesville to film a scene in the Warfield Complex, said Ivy Wells, the Main Street Manager.
"We tried to make it as a non-event - you don't want to have a whole lot of people there," Wells said.
The production company used a roundabout in the Warfield Complex for a scene with a limo, and the Maryland State Police Academy, Wells said. "Veep" is a comedy show starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the Vice President of the United States.
Wednesday was the only day "Veep" needed the space for filming, Wells said.
