LANDOVER - Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs will not play against the Redskins today due to the torn biceps he suffered during Baltimore's loss to the Steelers last week.

Suggs practiced on a limited basis Thursday and Friday.

He said Wednesday that he expected to be a game-time decision for today's game.

Paul Kruger will see an expanded role with Suggs sidelined. Kruger has five sacks in the last four games while working mostly as a situational pass rusher, but struggled against the run at times during the first half of the season.

Linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ankle), tight end Ed Dickson (sprained knee) and cornerback Jimmy Smith (sports hernia surgery) are also inactive for Baltimore.

Defensive lineman Bryan Hall, offensive lineman Ramon Harewood and wide receiver/kick returner Deonte Thompson are healthy scratches.
