Quarterback: C-

Joe Flacco was gone before the first quarter was over. Carlos Dunlap's interception of Tyrod Taylor was costly, but his running gave them a new option.

Running backs: B+

Like Flacco, Ray Rice was removed early. Bernard Pierce and Taylor ran well. Anthony Allen played creditably, too.

Receivers: D

Baltimore's three leading receivers were Ed Dickson, Deonte Thompson and David Reed. Won't win many games that way.

Offensive line: C-

The offensive line, which featured backups galore allowed four sacks, three while Taylor was there another when Flacco was playing.

Defensive line: A

Without Haloti Ngata, the Ravens still held the Bengals to just 49 yards rushing. Very impressive. Ma'ake Kemoeatu recorded a sack, his first this season.

Linebackers: B

No Terrell Suggs, no Ray Lewis, but a solid job by this unit. Paul Kruger recorded his team-leading ninth sack. Unheralded Josh Bynes had nine tackles.

Defensive backs: B+

Andy Dalton was held to just 78 yards in the first half. Backup Bruce Gradkowski completed just five passes. There were no interceptions.

Special teams: C+

Justin Tucker missed a field goal, just his third. Sam Koch wasn't especially sharp, but Cincinnati's return game wasn't a factor.
