Suggs questionable for Sunday

OWINGS MILLS - Terrell Suggs (torn biceps) practiced on a limited basis for the second consecutive day Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

"It held up real well," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said of Suggs' injured right arm. "He practiced for two days partially. As far as if you are asking what he is going to do, I really don't know yet. We'll just have to see where it goes on Sunday."

Middle linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (ankle) and tight end Ed Dickson (sprained knee) will both miss their second straight game with injuries suffered during Baltimore's win against the Chargers two weeks ago.

Cornerback Jimmy Smith (sports hernia surgery) practiced on a limited basis all week, but is listed as doubtful for Sunday.

Smith underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia three weeks ago. He appears on pace to return for next week's matchup with the Broncos.

"Jimmy [Smith] made progress," Harbaugh said. "He's out there practicing. [He] did a nice job - moved around pretty well, broke up some scar tissue and things like that. That's really important. He did a good job."
