"The Guilt Trip" is no fun ride.

If you are looking for a real laugh-out-loud comedy "The Guilt Trip" is not for you.

This comedy directed by Anne Fletcher, starring diva Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen leaves a lot to be desired.

You've seen buddy movies before, but a mother/son road trip is not that funny.

Andy Brewster (Rogen) and his overbearing mother Joyce (Streisand) set out on a road trip of a lifetime.

His mother's antics over the 3,000 mile trip is more then he can take.

He's meeting with different companies to promote a product he invented, but gets turned down at every avenue he approaches.

His mother is there to be his cheerleader, but he quickly tires of her cheering.

There's more to this movie, but the relationship between a mother and son may be just the advice Andy needs.

You may get a few chuckles, but they are far and few between.

I personally would wait for the DVD.
