Story Pals - Furry Friends: 10 a.m. For ages 2-3. A theme-based story time featuring interactive and age-appropriate stories, songs, fingerplays, and activities. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

Read and Play: 11 a.m. For ages Birth-24 Months. A story time featuring lap games, tickles, bounces, and rhymes followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling. With an accompanying adult caregiver.

Evening Story Time - Furry Friends: 7 p.m. For All Ages. End your day in a special way. This story time, open to all ages, introduces stories through books, songs, and activities. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

How can caregivers foster school readiness? Join us for a discussion on the differences in the types of child care options and the community resources available to support caregivers. Learn about MSDE's compliance website and other valuable sources of information. Sponsored by Child Care Choices and Carroll County Public Library. Refreshments will be served.

You will experience her life story through this riveting portrayal by renowned storyteller Janice Greene. History comes alive as we join in the centennial commemoration of Harriet Tubman's passing. An Afternoon with the Groundhog: 2 p.m. For All Ages. Is spring right around the corner or will we have six more weeks of winter? Come learn about this unusual holiday and hear what our own furry weatherman has to say. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

The Presidents Club: 7 p.m. For Adults. Register for this event today. Join us for a discussion of The Presidents Club - Inside the World's Most Exclusive Fraternity by Nancy Gibbs and Michael Duffy. The discussion will be led by Dean Jeffrey Kotlowski, a nationally known presidential historian and Fulbright scholar. Kotlowski earned critical acclaim for his book Nixon's Civil Rights - Politics, Principle, and Policy, published by Harvard University Press. He is a history professor at Salisbury University. A Celebrating America program.

Groundhog Day Story Time: 11 a.m. For ages 3-6. Register for this event today. It's Groundhog Day. Will there be six more weeks of winter? Come learn about groundhogs, listen to stories, sing, and do a craft to celebrate. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

A Musical Trip to New Orleans with Christopher James and Jon Seligman: 2 p.m. For All Ages. Register for this event today. Get ready for Mardi Gras with Maryland State Arts Council Award winners Christopher James and Jon Seligman. Join us to learn more about African rhythms, Mardi Gras Indians, Rhythm & Blues, marches, parades, funerals and the influence of New Orleans music on Ska, Reggae and Rock & Roll. Chris and Jon will perform with guitar, drum set, hand percussion and voices to give life to the history of New Orleans.
