Loyola University Maryland student, Caitlin DiSalvo

, has joined the The Community Crisis Center staff as an intern. DiSalvo is in the final semester of her senior year at Loyola, and she hopes to pursue a career in social work.

Caitlin said she is passionate about homeless-prevention and committed to the at-risk population that the Community Crisis Center serves. She chose to intern at the Community Crisis Center as a means to complete her Social Work Seminar.

The Community Crisis Center

announced the appointment of two new board members. Sarah Mallonga is project manager, strategic consulting for PHH. Eileen Compton-Little is a seasoned Realtor with Long & Foster Real Estate, based in Reisterstown. Mallonga and Compton-Little join current board members: Kevin Jones, president; Christy Tasker, vice president; Beth Gray, treasurer; Lori Baylin, secretary; Bill Sitterley, and Dick Harden.

"As we celebrate our 30th anniversary and expand our horizons in the community, we are very pleased that Sarah and Eileen have agreed to join our board, bringing their talent, time and service to our important mission," said center director Deborah Goff. ERS Cancer Aid for Children

, will present "Spring Fever," its annual spring bazaar and silent auction on Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Villages of Timbergrove Clubhouse, 425 E. Cherry Hill Road, in Reisterstown. Admission is free.

Vendors will be on hand, with crafts, accessories, purses, wallets, and jewelry. In addition, tote bags, tableware, invitations and buckles will be featured along with on-site massages, candles, Pampered Chef demonstrations and personalized invitations.

Baked goods and refreshments will also be for sale.
