Catherine Marie Skelley, 74, of Westminster, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Born Dec. 7, 1939, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Dotterweich Scheuerman and Frank Scheuerman. She was the wife of Gerard Betzler.
Prior to retirement, she was employed as a national sales manager for Filterite/ Brunswick Corporation. She was also a homemaker and business owner of Video Showcase.
She was an avid gardener, daylily hybridizer and member of Free State and National Capital Daylily clubs.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son and daughter-in-law William and Julia Skelley, of Cockeysville; daughters Susan Campbell, of Red Lion, Pa., and Deborah Spinner, of Towson; a brother, Richard Scheuerman, of Baltimore; grandchildren Nicholas Campbell, Brenna Spinner, Matthew Spinner, Dana Campbell Mazur and Samuel Campbell; and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Inurnment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Glen Rock, Pa.
