The Carroll County Arts Council's 7th Annual PEEPshow attracted an estimated 25,000 visitors who delighted in voting for their favorite marshmallow masterpiece in this annual fundraiser. A total of 170 entries were submitted this year with more than 25,000 PEEPS used to create the works of art which ranged from sculptures to mosaics to dioramas to films. Thousands of votes were cast helping to raise more than $40,000 for the Arts Council.
The Audience Favorite winners were as follows:
Best PEEP Film with 257 Votes, "Peep War 2014" by Jenn Sober.
7th Place, with 1187 Votes, "R2Peep2" by Bob Rupprecht.
6th Place with 1385 Votes, "Cake Boss Comes to Westminster," by Donaldson Remax.
5th Place, with 1391 Votes, "Mike Peepowski" by Lia Finch.
4th Place with 1434 Votes, "Lou Peetin" by the Marasco family.
3rd Place with 1790 Votes, "Peepcock" by the Wilhelm family.
2nd Place with 2681 Votes, "Maryland Terapeep" by Sydney Blacksten.
1st Place with 2807 Votes, "Michelangelo" by Tristar Martial Arts.
Grand Prize with 4692 Votes, "Some Peeple are Worth Peeping For" by Christian Twamley.
