Here's a shocker - the Orioles made a roster move Friday before their game against Oakland.
The team recalled RHP Miguel Socolovich from Class-AAA Norfolk and designated LHP Dana Eveland for assignment to make room for Socolovich on the 25-man roster.
Socolovich made his major league debut on July 14 against Detroit after having his contract selected earlier in the day. He was 3-0 with a 2.01 ERA in 26 games for the Tides this season and was named to the International League All-Star team.
Eveland went 0-1 with a 4.73 ERA in 14 games (two starts) in his first stint with the Orioles, May 11-July 15.
