Reports: Ravens, Suggs come to terms on restructed contract

According to multiple reports, the Ravens and outside linebacker Terrell Suggs have come to terms on a restructured deal that will keep Suggs in Baltimore while also providing the team with some additional room under the salary cap.

The Ravens announced Sunday night that they will hold a news conference Monday for Newsome and Suggs, during which they are expected to announce the new deal.

Suggs was set to count $12.4 million against the salary cap in the final year of the contract extension he signed in 2009.

Suggs, 31, has been with the Ravens since they selected him with their first pick in the 2003 NFL draft.

He is their all-time leader in sacks and had 80 tackles and 10 sacks last season.
