Rebecca Lee Fifield, daughter of Lawrence and Janet Fifield, of Westminster, and Luis Vidal, son of Maria Marlasca, of Melbourne, Fla., were married at La Banque de Fleuve in Havre de Grace, on March 10, 2012.
Bryant Heisinger performed the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Man of honor was Patrick Fifield, brother of the bride.
Best man was Jorge Vidal, brother of the groom.
The reception was held at La Banque de Fleuve.
After a honeymoon to New Orleans, La., the newlyweds are residing in Manhattan, N.Y.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Westminster High School; a 1996 graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va., with a Bachelor of Arts in museum studies; and a 1999 graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a Master of Arts in museum studies. She is collections manager for the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Colegio San Ignacio in San Juan, Puerto Rico; a 1997 graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey, with a Bachelor of Science in biology; and a 2003 graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Medical School with a doctorate in anatomy and neuroscience. He is an assistant professor for Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City.
