Godfrey Gordon "Butch" Miller Jr., 58, of Finksburg, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.

Born Nov 14, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Godfrey G. Miller Sr. and Florence Robinson Miller. He was the husband of Margaret A. "Maggie" Miller.

He worked as a mechanic at Vulcan Materials Company. He was a member of the Taneytown American Legion Post No. 120, Westminster Moose Lodge No. 1381 and St. John Catholic Church in Westminster. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, enjoyed boating, fishing and toying around with old cars, and taking his family to Ocean City every summer.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Cody and Bella Miller, both of Finksburg; brothers and sisters-in-law Bill Miller and wife Tammy, of Taneytown, and Garland Miller and wife Vicky; sisters and brothers-in-law Joyce Dayhoff and husband Shane, and Florence Miller, all of Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
