When the Baltimore Ravens won the AFC Championship, students on the St. John Catholic School Student Council wanted to find a way to celebrate the Ravens' success. The students came up with the idea of hosting a "Souper Bowl" - collecting cans of soups for the less fortunate and cheering on the Ravens for the Super Bowl.

Each classroom was encouraged to collect a minimum of 47 cans in honor of Super Bowl XLVII.

The students collected 616 cans.

Canned soup was presented to the local St. Vincent DePaul Society for distribution to the Westminster community.
