If you've already been saving money at Rather-Be-Shopping.com or if you'd like to start, you're going to love their new free iPhone app. It's very convenient and in addition to saving more money, it will save lots of time, especially during the upcoming hectic Christmas shopping season. Here are a few highlights of the new app:
1) The app is broken down into two main categories: In-Store Coupons and Online Coupons.
2) In-Store Coupons allow consumers to present the coupon at the checkout at popular stores such as Old Navy, The Gap and Macy's. The cashier just scans your iPhone and you collect the savings.
3) In addition, they have In-Store Coupons available for restaurants such as Denny's, Burger King and Chuck E. Cheese.
4) Online coupons allow consumers to shop via their iPhone at more than 800 popular online retailers and take advantage of money-saving coupon codes.
5) The ability to find your coupons easily by shopping category or store name.
You can preview the app on iTunes and get more details and screenshots, call Rather-Be Shopping's office at 530-524-4718, check out their recent blog post or visit their About Us page at Rather-Be Shopping.com.
This app is such a great idea because you don't have to hunt for those elusive coupons, either print or cut them from newspapers or magazines, file them and tote them in a bulky coupon file. What could be easier?
Dollar Tree
Last week, I happened to see a sign in the Westminster Dollar Tree's window saying they now accept manufacturers' coupons. What a nice surprise.
When you consider that Dollar Tree has begun to carry more name-brand products, using manufacturers' coupons will mean even more savings. In fact, some products could even be free.
For example: Soft Soap has coupons good for $1 off the purchase of two bottles, so that would cut the price of each in half; you'd pay only 50 cents per bottle. Pepperidge Farm's new Jingos crackers have a $1 coupon, so they'd be free.
