Relay for Life holds first Carroll event

American Cancer Society is holding a Relay for Life event Friday from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at Manchester Valley High School, 3300 Maple Grove Road, Manchester.

Registration and donations continue until the time of the event.

At the event, there will be a luminaria ceremony after sunset where participants will have the opportunity to circle a track surrounded by glowing luminaria dedicated to friends and family members affected by cancer. Luminaria can be purchased at the event for $10.
