Sandra Lee Bowman, 63, of Manchester, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born July 31, 1950, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edward Franklin and Hilda Lorraine Utz Tracey Sr. She was the wife of Charles LeRoy Bowman.
Through the years she worked at Dutch Corner Restaurant in Manchester, Wendy's in Hampstead, and Lowes and Random House, both in Westminster.
She attended Trinity United Church of Christ in Manchester. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching game shows but most of all enjoyed being with family.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Laura McAlexander and husband Martin, of Manchester, and William E. Bowman and wife Stacy, of New Windsor; siblings Donna L. Barr, of Port Deposit, Deborah Fritz, of New Windsor, and Edward F. Tracey Jr., of Pasadena, Md.; grandchildren Dennis Rishel, Samantha Little, Melissa and Bryan McAlexander, and Troy Bowman; and great-grandchildren Hunter and Andrew.
She was predeceased by a son, Charles L. Bowman Jr.; and a stepmother, Margaret "Peggy" Tracey.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service, noon Saturday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester. Interment will be private.
