Reed leaves Houston without signing; future still undetermined

The door isn't closed on a potential Ed Reed return to the Baltimore Ravens just yet.

The free-agent safety spent Thursday and Friday in Houston visiting with the Houston and, while he tweeted that he had "a great time," he left Houston without signing a contract.

The Ravens, meanwhile, remain in contact with Reed and his representation, according to USA Today Sports, although it still appears relatively unlikely Reed will return to the Ravens.

Reed's reportedly seeking a contract worth an average of at least $6 million per season.
