Cundiff among first round of Ravens cuts

The Baltimore Ravens have begun their first round of cuts with the most noteworthy among them being former Pro Bowl kicker Billy Cundiff.

Along with Cundiff, the Ravens also released tight end Davon Drew, offensive linemen Cecil Newton and Addison Lawrence, cornerback Jordan Mabin, long snapper Patrick Scales, quarterback Chester Stewart and wide receivers Devin Goda and Patrick Williams.

Baltimore now has 81 players on its roster.

With defensive lineman Ryan McBean and safety Emmanuel Cook likely to be placed on injured reserve, the Ravens must make four more cuts before Monday's 4 p.m. deadline to trim rosters to 75 players.
