Join us for a viewing of the movie, Welcome to Sarajevo, in conjunction with our One Maryland One Book selection, The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway. Welcome to Sarajevo chronicles several journalists covering the war, while coming across an orphanage in a particularly war-torn section of town. After there is no response from the international community to remove the children, a UK journalist decides to take the children, illegally back to England. Running time is 103 minutes. This movie is rated R for brutal images/war atrocities and language. One Maryland One Book is a program of the Maryland Humanities Council.
