Charles Winfield Robb, 99, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born June 24, 1913, in Cooksville, he was the son of the late George William Robb Sr. and the late Olive Gertrude McComas Robb. He was the husband of the late Skip Robb.
He had lived in Cooksville for most of his life and had been a farmer for many years. He was a charter member of the Glenwood Lions Club and a lifelong member of the Republican party.
Surviving are sons Charles McComas Robb, of Philadelphia, Pa., and James Robert Asmann and wife Jan, of Lansing, Mich.; a daughter-in-law Ann Robb, of Terra Alta, W.Va.; grandchildren Benjamin Robb, Elizabeth Ann Asmann, and Robert Asmann; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Fairhaven Chapel, 7200 Third Ave., Sykesville. Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery.
