Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and your family, for an evening of summertime fun sponsored by Taneytown Parks and Recreation.

The Nautical Wheelers, billed as Maryland's number one beach party band, will take the stage for a second year at the Taneytown Buffett and BBQ Fest. The event will take place at Taneytown Memorial Park on Aug. 10, beginning at 5 p.m. and running until 9 p.m.

According to the Nautical Wheelers' website, their roots are trop rock and island music - particularly Jimmy Buffett - but they also perform a variety of other styles, from country to classic rock. They also have a tribute to Jerry Jeff Walker and the Gonzo Compadres.

In addition to the live music, several vendors will be set up serving pit beef, pit turkey, pork, fried fish, burgers, hot dogs, fries, crab cakes, and other foods and beverages.
