Stanley Muriel Stull, 79, of Westminster, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.
Born July 4, 1934, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Addie Watkins Stull and Gary U. Stull Sr. He was the husband of Shirley Warehime Stull, his wife of 52 years.
He served in the Army as a sergeant during the Korean War. Before retiring, he worked 35 years for the Westminster Coca-Cola Bottling Company, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of the VFW Molleville Farm Post No. 467, American Legion Carroll Post. No. 31 and the Westminster Moose Lodge No. 1381.
He enjoyed socializing with friends, tending his vegetable garden and watching old western movies, and he was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter Bonnie C. Taylor, of Westminster; a granddaughter, Carley Taylor, of Westminster; sisters Meriam E. "Sis" Shipley, of Hampstead, Eloise McQuay, Mary H. Haines, Dorothy M. Long and husband George, Lois Ford, all of Westminster; and sisters-in-law JoAnn Stull and Marian Stull, of Westminster.
He was predeceased by brothers Gary U. Stull Jr., Charles R. Stull and George Carroll "Porky" Stull.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery in Smallwood.
