McDaniel women's lax, softball to host ECAC games

McDaniel will host a Eastern College Athletic Conference Mid-Atlantic Region women's lacrosse championship tournament first-round game on Wednesday at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium.

The second-seeded Green Terror (10-8) will take on seventh-seeded Alvernia (9-8) at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will face the winner of another first-round game between No. 3 seed St. Joseph's (Long Island) (13-5) and No. 6 Kean (9-8) on Saturday. The winner of the first-round matchup between No. 4 Neumann (12-5) and No. 5 Drew (10-6) will face the winner of final first-round game between top-seeded Lebanon Valley (13-4) and No. 8 SUNY Canton (9-4) in Saturday's other semifinal.

In softball, McDaniel gets a ECAC home game Wednesday.

The second-seeded Green Terror (26-15) take on seventh-seeded Cabrini (25-17) at 4:30 p.m. The winner will face the winner of another first-round game between No. 3 seed Alvernia (21-14) and No. 6 Penn State-Behrend (20-16) on Saturday.

No. 4 Neumann (24-11) and No. 5 Arcadia (20-21) face off in another first-round game with the winner facing top-seeded Misericordia (24-15).

The three winners will advance to Misericordia for a double-elimination tournament Saturday and Sunday.
